Verified by Visa

Our VISA debit cards and VISA credit cards are eligible for Verified by VISA, a free service that gives you password protection when you shop online. Verified by VISA protects your existing Visa credit and/or debit card with a personal password, giving you reassurance that only you can use your VISA card online.

The first step is to register your card number with Verified by VISA.

NOTE: If you use both a Visa Debit Card and a Visa Credit Card, you will need to register each card separately.

Activation is easy. Visit the Verified by VISA website to view a list of participating online stores. The next time you shop at one of those online stores, you'll have the opportunity to activate your password. All you have to do is:

1. Enter your VISA card number (debit or credit)
2. Enter your card details
3. Create your personal password
4. You're done!

Once you activate your personal password, Verified by VISA is active with every participating online store. That means added safety forever, because only you can use your card online (to ensure your security protection, do not share your password with anyone).

Look for the Verified by Visa logo at participating online retailers. When you place your order, Verified by Visa will prompt you to enter your password, your identity will be verified, and the transaction will be completed.
