Board of Directors

Meet Our Distinguished Board of Directors

As with any credit union, the people on our board of directors are unpaid volunteers. They work long hours for the greater good - to help members achieve financial wellness. We're honored to have these individuals leading the KaiPerm Northwest Credit Union cause. They help represent every member when it comes to making important, forward-thinking decisions that affect the entire credit union. If you wish to volunteer your time on one of the many credit union committees or apply for any open positions on our board, please email Maria Zarate: maria@kaipermnw.org.

Mark Moisan

 Vice Chair

Mark joined the board in 2003. "I am proud to be affiliated with a strong, member-focused credit union that has a sincere commitment to its cooperative mission. It is an enriching experience to serve on the board and a privilege that members have entrusted us with their confidence." Mark currently works as Manager of Healthcare Informatics at Regence BlueCross/BlueShield.

Alex Lamb

Chair

Alex was introduced to member-owned banking while in elementary school. When he started working for Kaiser Permanente as an on-call, he joined the credit union. Of his decision to serve on the board, he says, "I have been pleased that the credit union is able to keep up with the times, while remaining true to the ethics of the credit union movement: providing service to members who are owners of the credit union."

Carla Robertson

Carla joined Kaiser Permanente in July 1977, and currently works as the Assistant to the Vice President of Health Plan Services. She joined the credit union in 1982, and has served on the Board of Directors since May 1990. "I decided to run for a position on the Board of Directors because I felt I could bring some administrative and organizational experience to the group. I am passionate about the principle of members helping/serving each other and have enjoyed watching the institution mature, grow, and develop into a stronger organization."

Pete Lang

Pete worked for Kaiser Permanente for 34 years; 19 years with the medical group in Southern California, and the balance of time with the health plan of the Northwest. His last position at Kaiser Permanente was the director of Eye Care Services. He joined the credit union in 1986, and joined the board a year later. He has been on the board ever since. "When a position on the board became available, I applied. The rest is history."

Bill Butcher

An employee of Kaiser Permanente for 22 years, Bill joined the credit union the first year he began working for the medial provider. Wanting to get involved in a volunteer role that would exercise his financial skills and give something back, Bill ran for and was elected to the credit union's board over ten years ago. During his years of work on the board, he has served as Vice Chair and Chair. "I'm a big believer in the power and value of credit unions. Whether I contribute my time as a board member, by adding to my savings, or by taking out a loan, I know it's time and money well spent."

Linda Jardin

Treasurer / Secretary

Linda started working for Kaiser in 1979 and became a member of the credit union in 1982. Linda is a Registered Nurse and has worked as an ICU and ED staff nurse, a shift supervisor, a manager of patient care units and departments, and as a nursing director. She is currently the Manager of Care Coordination and Co-Chair of Utilization Management/Resource Stewardship at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center. "I believe in the member-oriented mission and the philosophy of 'People Helping People'. As a new member, I appreciate the support and cohesiveness of the Board of Directors."

Tyler Wubbena

Tyler was initially introduced to KaiPerm Credit Union through his wife, a former Kaiser Permanente employee.  "When it was brought (or When Steve VanHee brought it) to my attention that a board position was open, I felt that my experience working with public utility boards could add to the strong leadership that already existed.  I am a huge believer in the value of being a member and want to look for ways to enhance that value while maintaining fiscal responsibility."  Tyler is currently the Engineering Manager for the City of Hillsboro Water Department.

Bill Borok

Bill works for Kaiser Permanente in the Eye Care Services as a practicing optometrist and an optometry chief. He's been a credit union member since 2004.

Janet O'Hollaren

Janet has worked for Kaiser Permanente since 1983 and has been a credit union member since 1985. Janet is currently a Human Resources Director and has held positions throughout the region during her tenure. Janet joined the board in 2009 - after 24 years as a Kaiperm member. "Being on the board is a great opportunity. It allows me to give back to an organization which has helped me and so many other employees for so many years. It also provides me with the chance to enhance my knowledge about the credit union business."

Supervisory Committee

Also voluntarily staffed, the supervisory committee is currently handled by the talented Elizabeth Moisan, Linda Jorgensen, Erin Dirks, and the supervisory committee's chairperson Carolyn Olson.
